Bend Over Cross Stretch  
  • Warming up of muscles is very important for ensuring that the body is ready for weights and exercises and to prevent injuries by reducing stiffness of the body.
  • Bend Over Cross Stretch warms up your shoulder and back muscles while providing a good way to exercise the abs without the need of weight or equipment.
  • The body should be bent from the hips and the right hand should touch the left leg while the left hand is stretched straight and the reverse for the next side. Perform the exercise in a controlled manner.
  • Keep the hand motion fluid while rotating from the waist and looking at the toe of the side that you are touching.
  • Do not strain if you are unable to touch the toe on the first day. Stretching loosens the body and with regular exercise you will get there.
  • Exercise with caution if you suffer from or have had a back pain or injury.
